July 2021

DBM celebrates the firm’s 21st birthday in July. Thanks to our founding partners’ vision from day one, DBM has always been a firm that puts our people first, and our client services at the highest standard. Over the years, our firm has overcome obstacles that come in many different forms, has embraced changes in our profession and our environment, and is coming out stronger than ever. We are known in the business community for our expertise and dedication to our clients, and have been recognized by Accounting Today as the one of the nation’s best accounting firms to work for in the past three years.

Twenty-one years later, we are growing our client base at a steady pace, and are attracting more talent to join our team.  We are well-positioned to continue our growth trajectory. It is truly an exciting time to be at DBM!

Cheers! To a firm that just reached legal drinking age!

December 2020

In 2020, DBM was selected once again as one of the Best Accounting Firms to Work for in the United States by Accounting Today. The timing of the award is perfect for the firm’s 20th anniversary. It is unfortunate that we were not able to hold a celebration party with all of you due to the pandemic. Have no fear! Once the restrictions placed on all of us by the local governments are lifted, and COVID is no longer a threat, we will have a party to thank you all for your support for our firm!

When we celebrate this major milestone of the firm, we also celebrate the career of our partner Penny Millar.  After retiring from the partnership at the end of the year, Penny will takes a less active role in the firm to spend more time with her grandchildren and travelling with her husband, Paul O’Rear.  She will not be completely gone from the firm, but will definitely be limited in when she will be actively working.

We look forward to seeing you all as we celebrate these two great milestones for the firm.

March 2020

In supporting social distancing and preventing the spread of COVID-19, our firm has implemented our business continuity plan. All DBM team members are working remotely effective March 16, 2020.

We are well prepared for situations like this and have the processes in place to continue providing our clients with uninterrupted quality services. Although our office is closed, we are all available via email or by phone. If you reach the automatic answering message when you call our main office number, please use the directory to select the person you would like to reach.
